Sophomore & junior baseball players looking to earn service hours while making a difference in young lives can do so in the North End Baseball Program from June 11 thru July 5. The program takes place from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Mondays & Thursdays. Please see Mr. Allen in the Advancement Office for details.

Please turn Spanish books into your exam proctor or bring them to Mr. Smith before the Spanish exam.

Any items left in the gym or football locker rooms will be washed and donated to charity after today.

Attention Freshmen iPod Users: if your iPod is lost or stolen or broken, you will have to pay for it. See Mr. Memory for details. He will be in the library May 30 & May 31 to take care of iPod details. Unresolved iPod issues will keep you from receiving your report card.

Girl’s open gym today from 1:30-3:00.

Sophomores who have been at Badin since their freshman year do not have to pay for their iPod. It is yours! But, sophomores who have only been at Badin one year must buy the iPod if you want to keep it.

Students in Mrs. Jeffcoat’s classes who are leaving early for the game should stop by room 107 and pick up an exam review packet for a Midsummer Night’s Dream.

All juniors going on the June Kairos need to get their permission slips in ASAP.

Attention Badin sophomore and junior baseball players. If you are interested in following up and helping in the North End baseball league, please see Mr. Allen in the Advancement Office. The league plays Monday and Thursday morning, June 11 through July 5, at the North End diamonds. Unlimited service hours will be given and you will be making a difference in many young lives. Christian Service

Attention all students! Start planning your summer service projects now. Visit our Badin Campus Ministry/Christian Service page and click on “Summer of Service” to learn about the many service opportunities awaiting you this summer! You’ll find information about the city of Hamilton Safety Town, The Great American Ballpark Green Guardians Project, Hamilton County Park District-Winton Woods Riding Center and many others!

Please listen carefully to the following update for next year’s service requirement: Students will be required to submit at least one half of their hours by the end of the 2^nd quarter. For example, next year’s seniors must submit at least 10 approved hours before the end of the 2^nd quarter in order to pass that quarter for religion class. The balance of their twenty hours will be due in early May.

Students please plan your service work accordingly, failure to complete half of your service requirements by the end of the second semester, will result in a 2^ndquarter religion class failure.

Depending on the outcome of today's baseball game, Friday's dismissal time may change.

If the baseball team wins, we will dismiss school at 1:18 on Friday. This will allow the students, faculty and staff to attend the regional finals which will take place at 2:30 in Xenia. It will also be a green and white day.

If the baseball team doesn't win, we will be on regular 2:30 dismissal and in normal uniform.

The siblings of our graduates who are participating in the Baccalaureate Mass on Wednesday night at Sacred Heart are to meet Mrs. Helms at the beginning of 4^thperiod on Wednesday in the chapel. Because of a funeral at Sacred Heart Church on Wednesday morning we will not be able to go there for practice but will practice at Badin instead.

Help support TAG & the HERD by coming out to cheer on the Co-Ed Kickball Teams this Saturday at the CYO Field at Joyce Park. The first games begin at 11:30 and the final game between the winning student team and the faculty team will begin at 5:30 p.m. The cost to watch for the day is $3 + a canned food item.

Any student who was asked to participate in either the Senior Mass or the Baccalaureate Mass but has not yet turned in their RSVP sheet needs to do so ASAP!

CHRISTIAN SERVICE

Attention students looking for service opportunities. The Friends of Lane Libraries need your help at their annual book sale. This year’s book sale is in Miami Hamilton’s Gym. Set up for the book sale begins this Thursday, May 17 and the cleanup will finish Sunday afternoon. See Mr. Hosmer or Mr. McCabe to sign up for a specific day and time.

Looking for a great way to earn service hours and enjoy the nice weather this weekend? Paige’s Princess 5K Run takes place this Saturday, May 19 starting at 9 a.m. at Wyandot Elementary School in Liberty Township. The proceeds from this event supports Paige’s Princess Foundation, named after Paige Alessandro, a kindergarten student (and St. Max Parishioner) who died suddenly in 2010. Support this great cause and earn service hours! See Mr. Hosmer for registration info.

A family in Fairfield is looking for someone to babysit their two children, a boy age 10 and a girl age 8, this summer. This would be Monday through Friday from 8:30 – 5:00. Pay is negotiable. The parents are both Badin grads and are looking for a reliable Badin student. Please come to the office to get contact information if you are interested.

Attention all students serving at the community meal center. Please report to the Front St. Presbyterian Church by 3:00pm to earn the max of 4 hours.
